About Us
Rick and Diane
Rick and Diane Miller have been serving in missions for over 25 years. Rick’s interest in East Asia started in college when he developed a love for all things Vietnamese! Diane and Rick were married in 1985 and baptized in Central Christian Church in 1989.
Rick was blessed to travel to Taiwan extensively in the late 1980’s through his job as an aerospace development engineer – this was God’s providence to plant further seeds of love in association with Southeast Asia. Diane and Rick started “locally” by participating in Central Christian Church Mexico missions’ trips to Puerto Penasco to build homes for those in need.
Our first mission trip to Asia was in 2000 to Thailand and Nepal. We prepared for a mission work to Belgium/Germany and the Netherlands… in 2002 through Rick’s company – but it did not come to pass. As part of that preparation, we were advised to prepare for long term mission work starting with taking the “perspectives on worldwide missions” class. We moved to GJ. CO in 2004 and started attending the GJ Vineyard.
Our next trip was to Japan, Thailand and Burma in 2008 with The GJ Vineyard Church where we served on the missions’ board in 2008-2012. We were asked to facilitate, lead and teach a “Worldwide Perspectives” class for the Western Colorado/Grand Valley area. Through classes and biblical research into the mission field God impressed upon Rick and Diane the overwhelming task for bringing the gospel to the most populated part of the world. We learned that half of the worlds people live in a very concentrated and small part of the world (See Asian Circle) We discovered that this was also the “most unreached “part of the world, it was there that had the largest number of language groups WITHOUT a Bible. We also learned that even though this had 60% – 70% of the unreached people groups and half of the worlds people – it had the lowest concentration of missionary resources-worldwide!
Rick helped with another Mexico mission trip to Ensenada with YWAM in 2015. Diane officially started SEAMLESS Ministries in 2015-16 by incorporating articles for the initiation of their 501-C3. Diane and Rick also led trips to Thailand and Burma in 2016 and 2018.
Rick took a “discovery/meet and greet/SEAMLESS Kickoff” mission trip in 2017 to Hong Kong, Hyderabad and Kolkata India, Kathmandu Nepal, Mae Sot Thailand and Myawadee, Burma, then on to Phnom Phen and Siem Reap Cambodia.
